In one of my classes this week, we discussed bucket list items. I was asked to come up with three items that would be on my bucket list. I'm here on my blog to report what boxes I want to cross off before I well... "Kick the Bucket."

I want to stand on the field of U.S Bank Stadium with my dad. My father, Erik "Moose" Hansen is one of the biggest Minnesota Vikings fans I've met. I have plenty of memories of sitting next to him, watching the Vikings choke in the playoffs. At the end of every season, my dad and

I refer to a meme we found years ago online. The joke is "When I die, I want the Minnesota Vikings to be my pallbearers

So they can let me down one last time.

All joking aside, I'd love the chance to stand with him at the place that means so much to the two of us.

Up next on my bucket list, I want to own a 1952 Hudson Hornet. This is an even more unrealistic goal due to the rarity of these cars. I've been in love with Hudson Hornets since I was a little kid. The Pixar movie "Cars" has a character named Doc Hudson. Doc Hudson appeared to just be a cranky old man. However, Doc had a life full of experiences that make him one of the wisest mentor characters made by Disney and Pixar combined. Doc teaches Lightning that his goal of winning the Piston Cup isn't what's important. The important lesson is how he chooses to win. Lightning tells "the king" Strip Weathers that, "a grumpy old race car told me something. It's just an empty cup".

The last bucket list item I'm writing about is graduating college. I saw a quote that shows why education i

s so important. That quote is "The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.

I've never been a really good student. The reason it is a bucket list item for me to graduate college is because of my sister. One of the happiest times I saw my sister, was when I graduated high school. She told me "Johnny, You're making me smile." The disabilities she had made education a struggle for her, but it made her belief in her "big, little brother's" educational pursuits so much stronger.

Hi, I really enjoyed reading your post. Your bucket list looks so different to mine. I love that you brought up the movie cars. That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. All of the characters were so cool in their own way, especially Doc Hudson. I’m wishing you the best in the pursuit of your dream car. - Haylie
